Nine tools to find law at its source.

The catalog covers EU legislation (EUR-Lex), French texts (Legifrance), case law and current BOFiP tax guidance. Tax guidance has dedicated tools, separate from legislation. Every tool returns { ok, data, error } and remains read-only (readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false).

Search current BOFiP tax guidance, excluding news. Terms are combined with AND; series, division, BOI identifier and effective-date filters can be combined. Each result provides a source text excerpt and a unique document_id for retrieval.

Retrieve a current BOFiP document using its unique document_id, which is separate from the BOI identifier. The scope selects metadata, the table of contents, a section, a paragraph range or paginated full text. HTML content is preserved from the source.

02 - Getting started

Connect your assistant, without an API key.

Choose your tool and version to see the setup instructions. Authorization uses your Google account; Nomia accesses sources in read-only mode.

Nomia is already hosted: simply connect it to your assistant. You will need a Google account authorized by Nomia; the connection will guide you through granting access. No API key to create.

MCP server address

One remote connector works on Web and Desktop with the same Claude account.

Open connectors
Sign in to claude.ai, then open Customize → Connectors.
Add Nomia
Click + Add, then Custom connector (or Custom → Web). Name it Nomia MCP, paste the address above and continue.
Authorize the connection
Keep the detected OAuth authentication and choose Sign in now. Finish adding the connector, sign in with your authorized Google account and grant access to Nomia.
Use Nomia
Start a new chat. Under + → Connectors, enable Nomia for this conversation.

Try your first question

With Nomia MCP, retrieve the current text of Article 1240 of the French Civil Code and cite the official link.

Check that the assistant calls a Nomia tool and provides an official source. A response without a call to Nomia does not confirm the connection.

I cannot find the add button

Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro and Max plans; Free is limited to one connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner or an authorized role must first add Nomia to the organization, then each member connects with their own account.

Google or Nomia refuses the connection

Use the Google account authorized by Nomia. If access is denied, ask the Nomia administrator to authorize your email address. If a connection was revoked, reconnect Nomia from your assistant and grant access again.
